On Saturday, May 24, Dave took Connor to Heber to see and ride on Thomas the Tank Engine. Connor is absolutely obsessed with Thomas and anything to do with trains right now. He got his picture taken with Thomas, rode Thomas, saw Sir Toppham Hat, played games, and (his favorite) play with toy trains. He played in the room with the toy trains for an hour and a half! He wouldn't even go eat lunch. He wasn't extremely excited about Thomas until they were about to leave, and he kept telling Dave to "go the other way" back to Thomas. He had a really fun day with Thomas and his Dad!
While Connor and Dave were off seeing Thomas, me and the girls took a trip to the mall. We went to the Disney store where the girls had a ball! They loved all the princess stuff. I let them pick one thing and they finally decided on sunglasses. Then we went to McDonald's to eat and the girls played on the toy. When Connor and Dave got home, I saw Connor wearing a pair of Thomas sunglasses that Dave bought him! How fun that they all got new sunglasses!
ASPEN: In the car ride home from vacation, I turned around and scared Aspen with a "Roar". She screamed, laughed, then said, "Momma, roar me again!" *****We called Grandma around 9:00pm to tell her Happy Birthday. Aspen said it really quietly. We told her to say it louder, but instead she said, "I just really want to go to bed." *****We were shopping for clothes for Uncle Cam's wedding and Aspen picked up a cute outfit. She ran up to Dave, showed it to him, and then said, "Love it!" *****She calls freckles, "pickles." It's so cute. I can't correct her.
CONNOR: We were in a bathroom in California and I jokingly asked Connor if he needed a diaper change. (He is potty trained!) He looks at me seriously and says, "I don't know. Let me check." And proceeds to pull down his pants. *****One night we were out late shopping. On our way home Connor fell asleep. I tried to wake him up to ask him what he wanted for dinner at MCDonald's and because bed time was only an hour away. He groggily responded, "But the sky is down!" ***** Playdough for Connor is pronounced, "potato." Again, can't correct it.
BROOKE: We were watching a video of Panda sneezing and she thought it was so funny. She said to me, "Connor and Aspen have to see this! They will crap up!" *****At the grocery store, the kids always fight over who gets to ride in the "car" part (only room for two). So yesterday I asked who would volunteer to sit in the basket part. Aspen willingly volunteered so I let her choose a treat. I was telling Dave about it before family prayer and Brooke said, "Next time you do that, I'll Bolunteer!" *****Brooke calls eyelashes, "eyeflashes." Too sweet.

Did you chop Aspen's hair? It looks so cute!
Oh man those pictures are cute! Connor looks so cute in front of Thomas. Oh and Aspens hair is adorable!
How cute and fun!
That picture of Connor with the crinkled nose looks just like a picture I seem to remember of Dave. Obviously his son! What a fun day for Con-Man!
