Halloween Party

Our friends the Morrisses had an awesome Halloween party a couple of weeks ago. The house was decorated amazingly, the kids decorated bags, played games, won prizes, and we ate lots of good food (including homemade salsa)! The kids this year are Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, and Wendy. Since Peter Pan was their favorite ride at Disneyland, I thought these costumes would be great. (The kids don't really have much say. I put the idea in their heads and they loved it. I don't know how long I am going to get away with matching my triplets Halloween costumes so I am taking advantage of it now!) Dave and I went as Edward and Bella. Not much costuming to do there. Plus, I love those books.
We love Halloween Parties.

Kids and the Camera

One day when I was away, Dave gave the kids the digital camera and let them take pictures. They had a ball! Here are some of their fine photography pictures.

Pumpkin Patch

This year for preschool we took a field trip to the Pumpkin Patch again. I love that place. It is the Southridge Farms in Santaquin. I love the hayride over and the yummy apple cider donuts when we get back. This year was a lot less traumatic on the kids. Aspen and Connor didn't fall down constantly! It was cold, but not freezing and muddy like last year. Fun times.

Halloween Sugar Cookies

My sister Annie and her husband Berkeley came over for dinner on Sunday. The kids loved playing their Mario Kart game and we made Halloween sugar cookies! We had a ball making and frosting and eating them! We had them again on Monday for FHE treat. Dave put frosting on Connor's face and he started to get sad. I put some on my face too so he wouldn't start crying. Well, he did anyway. Good times with the sugar cookies!

Dance, Dance!

My girls are in dance this year. They are taking tap, jazz, and ballet. Unfortunately, I don't get to see them dance. I teach preschool during their dance time so my neighbor takes them. Well, last week I moved preschool to Friday so that I could see my girlies dance. They are so cute and have so much fun. They love it! I'm so proud of them.

Thomas and Mickey

Connor loves two things right now. Thomas the Train and Mickey Mouse. He sleeps with one or the other or both every night. I love that boy. What a sweetie!

Waxing

My sister-in-law Megan has gotten into waxing. In fact, all my girl Grant in-laws have. So a couple of weeks ago, I jumped on the bandwagon! Wow! Did it hurt. And then on top of the pain, a few days later, my lip broke out. The upside? I bonded with my in-laws and I have a hairless lip. Yes, I'll do it again. I think the nerves on my lip are dead anyway!
